That depends on a lot of things - altitude, windchill, how fast the floating fortress is moving, the moisture content of the air, and of course location and what season it is.

It did get pretty cold sometimes, even in the warmer colors - cold enough for ice to form on the windows - but keep in mind that the Vione, like all of Zaibach’s floating fortresses, was basically just a giant airship. And all airships rely on levistone, which provides varying amounts of lift as it’s heated or cooled. To stay afloat, something the size of the Vione requires a massive amount of levistone, and that levistone has to be kept at a steady, relatively warm temperature… so most of the time the interior of the Vione was pretty comfortable.

Of course, whenever it did get chilly, there was usually one of those awful sweaters from Shesta’s grandmother lying around…

It’s Escaflowne time again! Allen  is most likely the secret king of Escaflowne land because he has the longest, swishiest, and most pretty hair. He is sad his dad and sister are dead or missing or something and the ladies on the show all love him because he feels lots of feelings. We counted how many times his name was said in one episode and it was over twenty!

[OC: As an aside, while I am a hardcore Dilandau fan, I actually like Hitomi quite a bit - much more than most female protagonists, in fact. She’s really believable and sympathetic, and I love her character design (she’s attractive, but not remarkably so, and she actually looks like someone who’d be on the track team, small boobs and all).]

See, that’s exactly the problem! Everyone here thinks Allen is so kind and generous for going out of his way to keep me locked up in his house like a pet. I’d rather be hanged than endure this humiliation. (That’s what the Asturian nobles wanted, too.) At least then I’d be treated like a soldier, with the respect and fear that’s my due.

I’m sick and fucking tired of Allen letting me have things I shouldn’t ever have to ask for.

The weather’s starting to turn warm. It reminds me that it really has been over half a year since the war ended…

This time last year, I was handling a border dispute with Basram, I think. I just… I don’t understand how that all seems so far away. It’s like it happened to a completely different person.
